Support police and fire department initiatives including discussing plans for the aging Port Road firehouse

Mequon has dedicated police, fire, and EMS personnel and is committed to public safety. Mequon and Thiensville recently worked together to consolidate fire and EMS services, now known as the Southern Ozaukee Fire and EMS Department. This year they hope to consolidate equipment, hire three new full-time fire and paramedic staff members, and rebrand everything to the new name. Our police department answered almost 35,000 calls in 2021. I will continue to support Mequon police and fire initiatives.
