Monitor Highland Road traffic east of the river and new interchange to ensure safe travel

The Highland Road corridor between Lakeshore Drive and the river is a hectic stretch. It includes Oriole Lane School, Highland House, NewCastle Place, a new medical facility, a planned new residential development, a new interchange, and Concordia University. It’s also a popular route for joggers and cyclists. I often see vehicles traveling well above the posted speed limit. I will continue to monitor this area and work with City staff to ensure travel is the safest it can be.
